Soil Stabilisation

In-situ soil stabilisation is used throughout the building and civil engineering industries. This is a quick and cost efficient method to modify existing soils with binders such as lime and cement to create pavement and ground slab foundations

Gartell and son delivers sustainable soil stabilisation solutions across commercial, agricultural, and industrial sectors, offering comprehensive services:

  • Soil Design: Using our Carefully selected supply chain, we can create a tailored soil remediation plan, to make your cohesive  site won soil into engineered fill.
  • Reduced Material Removal: With adding a binder to existing soil, we can reduce the volume of originally unusable material being removed to landfill, by improving the existing soil’s properties.
  • Engineering Expertise: The dedicated Engineering Department conducts site surveys, modelling, and volumetric analysis and precisely addresses specific earthwork requirements.
  • Machine Control: We generate precise site data and enable GPS machine control capabilities for enhanced project control by employing the latest engineering tools.
  • Quality Assurance: We provide testing on all of our engineered soil, using our UKAS accredited subcontractor, to validate our work.
  • Advanced Site Equipment: Equipping our site engineers with full GPS and Total Stations and advanced software on our plant machinery ensures superior site precision and efficiency.
  • As-built Surveys: We use many different surveying techniques to ensure all records are maintained for future use.
